Our story
The Elegant Threads began in 2025 with a simple frustration: good sarees were either too expensive for an ordinary occasion, or so cheaply made they lost their charm after one wash.
HASEEN ANSARI AND AFTAB AHMAD started with a small collection and one rule: if we would not gift it to our own family, we would not sell it. Word travelled from one customer to the next, and what began in VARANASI now reaches homes across India.
Today we offer sarees for weddings, festivals, office days and everyday wear, with prices starting from ₹799.
